CY Leung gives Britain the finger

Hong Kong’s Chief Executive tells the Brits to mind their own business in response to British Foreign Office minister, Hugo Swire’s newspaper article which supports universal suffrage in Hong Kong in 2017.

CY Leung was quoted saying that the HKSAR does not need the British government or foreign governments to be involved in HK’s affairs. Moreover, the topic of universal suffrage was never discussed during the Sino-British declaration.

Both Occupy Central initiator Chan Kin-Man and Chief Secretary Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor support Leung and holds the position that assistance or interference from foreign government is not necessary and will only complicate matters.
