Memorial museum for the Tiananmen Square Massacre to open in 2014

In addition to the annual candle vigil to commemorate the Tiananmen Square crackdown on Jun. 4, 1989, Hongkongers may soon have another option to commemorate the tragedy.

The Alliance Support of Patriotic Movements says a permanent Memorial Museum is set to open in Apr. 2014, just before the 25th anniversary of the June Fourth incident.  

The organiaer, Lee Cheuk-yansaid the museum will help the younger generation and mainland visitors better understand the history of modern China.
