Missing old man hit by taxi on highway and dies

A 72-year-old elderly man was missing from his Kwai Chung home and found wandering around on the West Kowloon highway.

A taxi, which was carrying a female passenger from the airport to the city, couldn’t brake in time and hit the elderly man. The impact was so forceful that the taxi damaged the front of his car and cracked his wind shield. The man was rushed to the hospital where he was certified dead.
