Uh-oh the Beijing Foreign Ministry representative in Hong Kong has warned the US not to interfere with the SAR’s internal affairs after Vice-Preseident Joe Biden met with pan-democrats Anson Chan and Martin Lee at the White House last Friday.
The SCMP reports that Chan and Lee told Biden about how the central government was controlling candidates for the 2017 chief executive election as well as expressed their concern over Hong Kong’s diminishing press freedom.
