A couple married for over 50 years have been arguing about the man’s infidelities for over 24 years.
This time, as their argument escalated to violence, the 74-year-old wife is looking to divorce her 85-year-old husband.
The wife claims they had a small tiff just before dinner at their To Kwa Wan apartment, and even though she tried to make peace by asking him if he wanted some potatoes she cooked, he refused to end the quarrel. Later on in the night, she asked him to go to bed, but still agitated about their earlier fight the husband revisited the argument, but this time he got violent. He smashed the back of a chopping knife onto her shoulder and when she attempted to call the police, he shoved her mobile phone in her mouth, causing her to suffer from heavy bleeding.
The husband was arrested and the wife was sent to hospital for treatment.
