Macau Chief Executive says too many tourists is undesirable

The crowds of mainland tourists visiting Macau are affecting residents’ daily life, and Macau’s Chief Executive Fernado Chui is considering policies to restrict tourists.

According to the Apple Daily,  Chui said that although Macau values their tourism industry, too many tourists will affect local residents’ quality of life. Chui also said that in the foreseeable future, he hopes that Macau will become the world’s tourist centre for entertainment.
