Thief steals 6,000 eggs from back of truck

An egg company in Sham Shui Po found 6,000 eggs stolen from their truck at around 6am in the morning, just as the owner was about to open the shop.

According to the Apple Daily, the eggs, originally meant for delivery, were all stolen – including 14 boxes of eggs and six boxes of preserved eggs worth HK$5,300. The owner said that this is the time anyone has ever stolen eggs in his business, which he has presided over for 36 years.
