Put your feet up and open wide: new dim sum and massage lunch special is the ultimate in HK multitasking

Usually when we ask for a little something extra at lunchtime, we’re referring to another helping of pudding. So when we heard about a simply genius idea by ten feet tall to offer a mid-day deal and a massage in one scrummy package, we were pretty impressed but also kind of bemused – why has no-one thought of this before?

Dubbed ‘Multitasking 101’ and selling itself as “The highest form of relaxation while being productive”, the five-star spa on Queen’s Road Central is now running its Massage Lunch Special from Monday through Friday between 12pm and 3pm.

The menu, designed by the chefs in the dragon-i kitchen, offers a choice of dim sum platters or nutritional salads to pamper the taste buds, while a skilled masseuse works up a sweat busting tension in a 50-minute pressure point massage or soothing tired tootsies with a refreshing reflexology session.

However, we’re not entirely sure where the multitasking really comes in, unless you consider putting food in your mouth and stretching out your legs as two separate chores.

Either way, whether you’re in for the food or for your feet, you’ll be killing two birds with one stone by returning to the office with your tummy full and your feet ready to resume their place on the desk.
