If you’re a regular down Lan Kwai Fong on the weekends, you’ll no doubt recognise this friendly Hong Kong face.
We were delighted and pretty surprised when we saw “the party pest” on Twitter, but we have a sneaking suspicion it might just be people taking the piss.
Using the handle @GollumLKF and the tagline “Hey there, it’s Gollum. You can usually find me outside 7/11 in LKF. Give me your booze and fags!”, the account only has three followers and a handful of Tweets to its name.
Some tweets ask for drinks and cigarettes, one complains about the lack of followers, but most just say “Nyeng”.
On a mission to undercover the truth and report his story, Coconuts HK attempted to speak to the legendary man in question at his favourite haunt this week. We’re sad to report that “nyeng” was about as good as it got.
