Recognise this weird little dude? Apparently he’s not a cross between a carrot and a poo, he’s Big Waster, and now he’s got his own Facebook page. What has the world come to?
The indistinguishable character was chosen last year to represent food wastage in the Environment Department’s Food Wise Hong Kong (FWHK) campaign, which has just this week been given an extra push.
A series of roving exhibitions to promote food waste reduction and celebrate local success stories was kicked off yesterday at the Ground Floor of Telford Plaza. Go along if you’re SUPER bored.
