Secondary schoolchildren had their own student strike on Friday, which started at 10am outside of the Central Government Complex.

Having had their application to use Tamar Park rejected by the government, the students had to use the sidewalk outside of the Central Government Complex instead. Tamar Park was used by a pro-beijing protest instead.

Due to the number of students, many were sitting too far away from the loudpeakers to be able to hear the speeches.
