Suicidal man suspected to be stuntman rescued at protest site

A man sat atop a pedestrian bridge at the Admiralty protest site for over four hours this afternoon, threatening to commit suicide.

He told the crowd that he wanted to stop the protests, demanding that student leaders speak to him and that television stations broadcast “uncut footage,” according to reports on Twitter.

There is speculation that the man was actually a professional stuntman named Tony Leung Sui Hung hired to disrupt the protests.

Around 6pm, firefighters managed to coax the man off the bridge.
