Five bags of feces and paint thrown from above onto Mong Kok protesters and child

Hui Sir, the police spokesman who gives a daily press conference about the protests, stated yesterday that in a completely foul incident, five plastic bags filled with paint and feces were “dropped from a building onto the illegally assembled areas” in Mong Kok on Wednesday.

The contents of the bags hit several people, including a young boy still in his school uniform. Poor kid! Hope that doesn’t put him off the right to assemble.

Hui Sir stressed that dropping things out of building windows is a “very serious act of crime” and that the police will not tolerate any such “acts of violence”.

But he also reminded the public that it’s “extremely irresponsible” to bring children to the protests in Mong Kok. Because apparently if crazy angry people indiscriminately throw shit and paint into a crowd from above and your kid gets hit and the police don’t manage to arrest them, it’s kind of your fault.
