VIDEO: Another crazy Russian selfie from a Hong Kong skyscraper, but this time someone’s cashing in

The Hong Kong skyscraper selfies just keep getting more and more crazy/more and more compromised. This latest one, only released on Vimeo today, shows self-confessed “Crazy Russians” – although we don’t believe it’s the same crazy Russians and the last high rise hacking feat – climb (completely unaided), to the very, very top of The Centre. The 73-storey mammoth is Hong Kong’s fifth-highest building.

Notably this time, however, the stunt is clearly sponsored, although we’re not going to say by who, as we refuse to be a pawn in their cynical corporate games.

It has to be said that the view from the top is pretty breathtaking and stomach churning, but there’s a solid two minutes of pure posing at the end, so just be ready for that.

We don’t think the world is bored of these videos just yet and this is sure to go viral, but it is a shame that the concept of “Crazy Russians” climbing skycrapers has now become a commodity. Life was so simple before.
