Hong Kong’s Star Ferry gets a Movember makeover!

As the cold winds of Movember creep in, Hong Kong’s iconic Star Ferry will be keeping cosy in the thick of it after a hairy/painted revamp for the season.

The “Mo Ferry” was unveiled at the Tsim Sha Tsui terminal this week by Hong Kong the Mo Bros Ryan Hui and Alex Lam, who will be strutting their ‘staches through the month to raise awareness for prostate cancer (not that it comes up in conversations about Movember much, but we guess it should).

Cyrus Sham, operations executive of Star Ferry Company, and his team are tickled to be on board with the cause.

“Following the success of last year’s Mo Ferry activation, we hope this year’s vessel can help raise even more awareness of Movember to inspire more people to get involved with the campaign. We also hope it reminds men to take care of their health,” he said.

So get in on the bromance and power through Movember with a clean-shaven start from Nov. 1. Register here as a Mo Bro (or Mo Sista, if that’s your thing) and tell the world of your mo-growing and supporting efforts.

Now’s the chance to preen in all your Ron Swanson-y glory and roll out those ‘stach puns you’ve been saving all year.
