Long-haired, bead-wearing, and bare-chested: these are the expats of Lamma Island. At least, that’s what they’re like according to the creators of local YouTube Channel “The Expats”.
Check out this hilarious video depicting free-spirited residents of Lamma telling “banker wankers” to stop taking weekend jaunts to their island and ruining their vibe.
Their vibe is, of course, maintained by their public, impromptu, interpretive dance and trumpet performances clearly underappreciated by the (actual) locals.
“Lamma Island has a spirit of free-spiritedness, love, and acceptance… If you’re going to come here and not be like us, you can get off Lamma Island!”
