Move over Kenny G: British comedian Bill Bailey Tweets from Hong Kong protests

If you’re British and therefore thoroughly confused and totally underwhelmed by all the fuss about Kenny G showing up at the Occupy Central protest site last month – who is that guy anyway and what’s with his hair? – you’ll be pleased to know that the parallel universe has set things right.

Massively famous in the United Kingdom but totally nameless in the United States, English comedian Bill Bailey is this month’s Occupy Central celebrity sighting.

Also known for insisting on maintaining slightly out-there hair, Bailey took time out from his recent Hong Kong gigs to stop by Mong Kok and speak to the “friendly protest”ers.

Check out his Tweets from last Thursday (Sorry we didn’t notice before, Bill. Guess you’re not that famous after all):

You’ve done it now, Bill. Consider all upcoming gigs in China cancelled with immediate effect.
