Someone’s got a grudge, and they just dealt their sweet, sweet revenge in the form of FORTY CENTIPEDES.

Yesterday morning, two men, described to be around 40 years old, went to the front door of a lingerie manufacturer’s 19th floor office in Kwai Chung, reports Apple Daily.

One rang the doorbell while the other was on the lookout in the lift. Then the first guy waited for the receptionist to open the door, and smashed a bottle onto the ground.

Apparently these guys are in the business of nightmares, because the bottle contained 40 five-inch-long Chinese red-headed centipedes, which proceeded to slither and crawl all over the office floor.

NOPE NOPE NOPE. We would have noped the hell out of there in three milliseconds flat.

The police were called and promptly sprayed what look like gallons and gallons of insecticide onto the demon spawn.

First they’re on street cleaner’s duty to clear Occupy, now they’re on pest control? Tough.

The police are investigating the case but no arrests have been made.

The company is one of the world’s largest lingerie manufacturers, making garments for big brands like Victoria’s Secret.

The firm’s chairman says they can’t fathom why anyone would want to do something like this to them. They also floated the possibility that the centipede-throwers got the wrong door.

The centipedes reportedly a good HKD20 a pop, so someone’s going to get in trouble for wasting all those leggy arthropods if that’s the case!

According to Apple Daily, the centipedes are not venomous but if their bites might leave your skin red and swollen. They’re usually used to feed goldfish.

Note to self: do not mess with goldfish, or people who might throw centipedes at you.
