Incredible Hong Kong exhibition pieces together world destinations from postcards

In the age of the Facebook message, some may argue that the art of sending post cards is dying. While that may be true, these quaint destination snapshots may live on yet, IF they can become art in themselves.

*Drum roll please!* Enter celebrated Brazilian artist Vik Muniz and his crazy collage exhibition, currently in Hong Kong.

Shanghai
While some may have branded him a hoarder, Muniz’s obsessive collecting of vintage photographs and postcards has paid off in the form of these staggering shredded images that combine both nostalgia and modernity.
Venice
Be it a scene from Venice, Shanghai, the Great Wall of China, Palm Beach or our very own Hong Kong, these incredible creations may save the humble postcard yet.
