Everyone knows the desperation of an intense chocolate craving when there is no cocoa goodness in sight…
But who wants to pop into one of Hong Kong’s thousand 7-Elevens when you can have a drone deliver a bar from 10 kilometres away?
A drone enthusiast has done exactly that, flying a chocolate bar from Tseung Kwan O to Repulse Bay.
A trip that normally takes at least half an hour by car was cut down to less than 14 minutes by the speedy flying machine.
This is not a trip to be accomplished by just anyone with a drone, however: it took careful planning, as judged by the handy guide written by the maker of the video.
For example, “Helicopters and private planes often fly low – you and your spotter must have a clear view of the airspace,” he writes.
We’re not sure some candy is worth causing an aviation accident, but we guess it did make a pretty cool video.
