VIDEO: Hilarious Daniel Wu spoof sells Hongkongers ‘Fresh Air’

We’re all absolute experts on moaning about Hong Kong’s air pollution problem. But few have mastered the art of addressing the issue while being amusing and entertaining (present company excepted, of course).

That’s why we JUST LOVE this spoof 1980s infomercial featuring Hong Kong movie star Daniel Wu, who introduces the new product every Hongkonger has to have – “Fresh Air”.

Branded as a stupid solution for a serious problem, Fresh Air is described as the “revolutionary new product that lets you experience breathing like the rest of the world does”. Just imagine that!

Just one can, which contains approximately two breaths, will allow you to master new skills like balloon animal making and yodelling, and see you blow out your birthday candles “with confidence”.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Fresh Air comes in a variety of flavours, including “vanilla”, “beach” and, our favourite, “horses”.

Big thanks to the Clean Air Network and Diesel for teaming up to make this little beauty.

According to the video, the no-cost campaign has sparked “overrude” debate.

We assume they mean “overdue”, but who are we to complain about tpyos?
