No longer do you have to go to a gay bar to enjoy the wonderful company of Hong Kong’s LGBT community. They’re going mainstream, baby!
The Guerrilla concept works as follows:
Gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, trans and all the other colours of the multi-faceted Hong Kong rainbow take over “your favourite straight bar” once a month.
It doesn’t matter if it’s an ale-stinking sports bar or a high-end hotel – it’s happening, so deal with it.
Central’s Tazmania Ballroom is this year’s first target for Thursday, March 5.
As the organisers say so much better than we could: “It’s the Year of the Goat. So what do goats like to do? Exactly, they like to jump around and enjoy happy hour.”
Thankfully for these giddy goats, the fab Taz has extended their happy hour from 6pm – 9pm, just for the Guerrilla group.
The event is free to join, so grab your gay/straight entourage and mix it up for a night.
