A mainland couple were asked to leave a Hong Kong-bound plane when their three-year-old son threw a tantrum and refused to wear his seatbelt.
When the flight attendants asked them to make sure he was buckled in as the plane was preparing to depart Bangkok on Tuesday, the parents refused, insisting that the kid could just sit in his mother’s lap, reports Apple Daily.
No one can argue with a mother’s embrace, but rules are rules.
An annoyed passenger inserted herself into the situation and demanded that the flight attendants call the police, further angering the mainland Chinese man, who said he would not be “harassed” off of the plane.

Finally, the couple and their crying toddler were ushered off the plane.
Take-off was delayed by 27 minutes.
