CY Leung’s office removes embarrassing browser tip

It seems Hong Kong’s Chief Executive does listen to the people after all.

After Twitter was a-titter yesterday when New York Times reporter Alan Wong pointed out that the CE office’s website advised visitors to view the online info in extinct browser Netscape 6.0, the embarrassingly retro note has now been removed.

The optimum resolution has also been upped from 800 x 600 to 1,024 pixels.

Welcome to the 21st century Mr. Leung.

To be fair though, he is doing an awesome job on Twitter!
