Mainlanders are allegedly so turned off after visiting HK that they’re destroying their entry permits

Photos that purportedly show mainlanders’ destroyed exit-entry permits for Hong Kong and Macau are getting widely shared on the Hong Kong interwebz.

According to the photos, Chinese tourists are getting so pissed off by their experiences in Hong Kong and Macau that they’ve vowed to never return, destroying their exit-entry permits to prove the solemnity of their vows.

Facebook user Julian Yip posted screenshots from a Chinese social network that appear to feature photos of six vandalized permits, with the users declaring they’re “not going [to Hong Kong and Macau] anymore”.

Obviously, the permits could very well be expired, but they’re still making a statement.

In his post, Yip wrote: “I’m laughing so hard my belly might burst. Chinese people haven’t changed in decades.”

That should make those anti-parallel-trading protesters happy, but we have a feeling people who make a living off of baby formula aren’t the ones behind these photos.

Yip posted the photos only 12 hours ago but it’s already reached over 200 shares as of the time of writing.
