Local magazine 100most posted a video showing a Western woman sprawled out across three seats on the MTR while an elderly man stands right in front of her.
“In reality, it’s not just mainlanders that have special MTR-taking techniques,” writes 100most.
“Foreigners also have rotten apples. This young “gweimui” [the feminine form of “gweilo”] has her leg on two seats. Does she think she’s hot shit because she’s wearing black pantyhose?”
The top comment, posted by a certain Wong Wai Sum, says that if he were there, he would have loudly said: “Excuse me miss, can you please now put your leg down and spare the seat out! You are not welcome in Hong Kong. Get your ass back to your rubbish country, whatever that is.”
Now that would have made for a good video.
