Covering an expanse of 6.6 million square miles, Russia, it’s fair to assume, has much more to offer than Putin’s moobs and decent vodka.
Starting from today, the Festival of Russian Culture will prove exactly that, as a stunning exhibition of the works of amateur and professional photographers goes on display in the Kong.
The Best of Russia photo exhibition, running at Hong Kong City Hall until April 5, will see 50 works depicting the beauty and uniqueness of Russia.
As has been the way for the past seven years of the festival, all the images were submitted by the public and chosen by a panel of art critics, prominent photographers, editors and curators.

The only stipulation was that the photos had to have been taken within Russia between Sep. 2012 and Oct. 2013.

There will also be a number of photography satellite events taking place during the exhibition period, including master classes with renowned photographers and activities for children.
