Hong Kong border guards force 53-year-old rotund woman to take pregnancy test

A 53-year-old woman from Shenzhen has complained to Hong Kong’s immigration department after she was hauled off a bus under the accusation of being pregnant.

And what’s worse than being pregnant? Just being fat and everyone thinking you’re pregnant.

According to ChinaSmack.com, guards at the Lok Ma Chau border forced the woman to get off the bus she was on a take a pregnancy test, even though she told them she was over 50 was therefore most probably not with child.

She complained that the inspection wasted her time and almost caused her son to miss his flight to Australia.

Some pregnant mainland women try to sneak their bumps into Hong Kong unnoticed so they can have their babies here.

The official response from Hong Kong Immigration was that the incident was a “miscommunication” and the test only took seven minutes.

Seven minutes and a lifetime of embarrassment.
