You may remember the sex-on-legs star from Mr. Gay HK’s Chinese New Year “Shake It Off” lip sync video? Well, Mass Luciano, Mr. Gay HK 2015, is back – and he needs our help taking over the world!
Luciano, born in Puerto Rico and now a Hong Kong resident, will be competing for the coveted titled of Mr. Gay World 2015 on May 2 in Kynsna, South Africa, and we reckon he’s got a pretty good chance of taking the crown.
A fashion designer, stylist and blogger – who clearly also has plenty of time to work on those out-of-this-world abs – Luciano overcame homophobia as a teenager by refusing to let himself be victimised by class bullies.
“Not only did I stand up for myself, I decided to stand out and ended up being class president and eventually became friends with all those who once bullied me,” the 35-year-old told Coconuts HK.
Now a Red Ribbon Ambassador since claiming the Hong Kong Mr. Gay title, Luciano is an advocate for safe sex and a voice for acceptance in Hong Kong.
“There are not only gays, but lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people in our diverse city. United, we can end the stigma related to being LGBT and together we can overcome adversity and achieve equality. Why blend in, when we can stand out?”
