Danish guy buys Asia’s most expensive flat at the Peak, Hong Kong

Just imagine being able to buy your own Hong Kong flat. Then imagine being able to buy your own Hong Kong flat hat also happens to be the most expensive in Asia.

Yeah, well, a Danish guy just did that.

According to the Land Registry records, an apartment at – you guessed it, the Peak – has just been sold for a HKD497.9 million.

With 5,188 square feet of saleable space, that translates to a gut-spilling HKD95,971 per square foot, which is a record in Asia.

In case you’re thinking Aaxman Daniel (that’s the Danish guy) got ripped off, rest assured that the Opus property has two parking spaces, a 3,245 sqft garden and a private swimming pool.

So if you ever meet a guy called Aaxman when you’re out – there can’t be too many – get him to buy the drinks. We’re guessing he’s good for the cash.
