Donate to Nepal education fund by buying beer in Hong Kong!

Looking for an excuse to get wasted on a Tuesday night? Always.

Literacy and education-focused charity Room to Read will be donating HKD10 for each drink purchased at Culture Club Gallery next Tuesday to their Nepal Education Fund, as part of their monthly “Beers for Books” campaign.

Fun fact: Room to Read was first launched in Nepal when former Microsoft executive John Wood visited several local schools in the country and decided to help build education centres and libraries in rural areas.

Waddaguy!

The donations collected from your alcoholic purchases will go towards Room to Read’s efforts to sustain the quality of education for children in Nepal after the earthquake.

Nothing like charitable drinking to check off your good deed/bad deed of the day!
