A drunk white male took a rather dangerous route home from the pub last night when he decided to ride on top (not on the top deck, actually on top) of a double decker bus.
According to Apple Daily, passengers reported hearing strange noises from the roof of the 90B bus from Admiralty to South Horizons as it made its way between Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau at around midnight last night.
After at first dismissing the concerns, the driver finally stopped to take a look at Ap Lei Chau Drive.
And there, lo and behold, he found a drunk Caucasian man sat on the roof of his vehicle.
The driver promptly called the police, who turned up in minutes and coaxed the man – like a cat stuck in a tree – down from the roof.
The 50-year-old, who reportedly gave his name as Jonathan, explained to the police that he was drunk and couldn’t remember how he ended up on top of the bus.
He was then allowed to continue on his merry way… on foot.
