Move over wine tasters – craft beer pairing is now a thing!

If wine and food pairings are altogether too fancy for you – or perhaps you’re tried every combination possible – it’s time to move on to something a little different.
 
Introducing craft beer and snack pairing. Hurrah! 
 
To satisfy your parched and carnivorous appetites, Lawry’s The Prime Rib will be presenting a special dinner menu on Wednesday, July 22, featuring couplings of six craft beers from around the world with six of the restaurant’s famous treats.
 
A craft beer expert will also be joining guests, guiding them through the diverse flavours and characters of the different beers.
 
Priced at HKD388, the six-course menu includes Grilled Squid and Scallops paired with Tuatara Aotearoa Pale Ale, a citrusy beer from New Zealand; a Smoked Salmon Salad paired with a hoppy Baird Teikoku IPA from Japan; and bone-in meaty Grilled USDA Ribs paired appropriately with Rouge Hazelnut Brown Nectar from the US.
 
Head over to Lawry’s next Wednesday for a night to remember (or, at least try your best to after six bottles).
