Dirt cheap, Michelin-recommended meals: it’s Restaurant Week in Hong Kong!

There is no greater conflict known to Hong Kong foodies than that between their appetite and their wallet.

That is all about to change… well, for 10 days, at least. The twice-annual Restaurant Week is back in Hong Kong from July 31 to Aug. 9 (technically 10 days, but who’s counting?), with over 80 restaurants offering affordable, fixed-price menus during the period.

This year’s list of restaurants includes many of last edition’s favourites, such as Peruvian restaurant Chicha, Italian eatery Isono, and Mediterranean haven Souvla. A number of Michelin-recommended restaurants also join the list, including the famous tapas restaurant Fofo by El Willy and Japanese home-style joint Youka.

Restaurants fall under two categories, with Category A offering a lunch menu for HKD198 and dinner for HKD398, and Category B offering HKD118 for lunch, HKD298 for dinner.

Online bookings start at 10 am on Monday, July 27. Get out your calendars and prepare for a week of pigging out!
