See the best contemporary art of the past year at Cat Street Gallery’s annual summer show

Haven’t been to an art gallery in the past year? Find out what you’ve been missing at Cat Street Gallery’s Summer Salon Show, which brings us the most significant contemporary artwork from the past 12 months.

Running from August 6 to September 12, Signal 8 will look back at the gallery’s best exhibits, featuring more than 20 awesome pieces from 15 artists. The repertoire covers both seasoned and emerging artists from across the globe, including:

– Acclaimed conceptual and graphic artist Jacky Tsai, whose culture-blending installations have been featured at Lane Crawford and Shanghai Tang. His recent Hong Kong-inspired mixed media work will be on display.

– Australian experimental artist Garth Knight, whose intricately detailed pieces blur the line between reality and illusion, while often depicting scenes of bondage. Ooooh, indeed!

– Simone Rosenbauer, whose famous “Like Ice in the Sunshine” series shows popsicles melting against artificially coloured backgrounds. WTF, indeed!

Visit the Cat Street Gallery to catch a glimpse of these artists’ oeuvre!
