‘Sensory music experiment’ with 5 international EDM DJs at the trippy Heineken Green Room

If you want to literally see the music you’re dancing to (without necessarily taking any questionable substances), head over to the Heineken Green Room next Friday.

That’s right, your uncle’s favourite beer is about to shake up the Hong Kong party scene with their new initiative – a “sensory music experiment”.

With the help of five DJs from across the globe, the beer company is putting on a five-hour EDM party at the W Hotel, where there’ll be a giant orb displaying trippy visuals and the like.

They’re even encouraging tech-savvy users to use their app to send their selfies to be shown on the orb, since they know full-well that no party is complete without incessant photo taking with your drunk friends.

And we don’t know what the hell this means, but here goes:

“The app allows participants to track their activity and responses to the various visuals throughout the night, and recap their personalised experiment results in the form of a highly engaging, shareable ‘Data Selfie’ so that they can re-live the exciting night.”

On the lineup for the evening are DJs Alvaro from Holland, Hard Rock Sofa from Russia, SCARNITE and Rana from South Korea, and Hong Kong’s very own Sam Lee a.k.a. Becareful.

Nab an early-bird ticket for HKD388 and prepare for a wonderfully weird night of synesthesia.
