Celebrated comedians Murray and Moran heading to Hong Kong

English-speaking denizens, prepare yourself for some proper humour that you can actually understand! Comedic giants Dylan Moran and Al Murray are performing in Hong Kong in the coming months.

Dylan Moran is bringing his brand-new show to Hong Kong in September. Described by insightful YouTube commenters as “your drunk, rambling uncle” or by pretentious reviewers as “the Oscar Wilde of comedy”, Moran has spent most of the last year touring in the US and writing a television pilot for ABC. Bring your English friends if you’re looking to have an Irish man piss on them for a bit.

What: Dylan Moran – Off the Hook Live in Hong Kong
When: 8pm Thursday, September 3

Al Murray’s new show, One Man One Guvnor, features his character, the Pub Landlord, giving his take on British involvement in current world affairs. His bit on the current state of British politics should bring a smile to the face of any expat who ran away from UK. Careful though, Murray spends a good first half “meeting his audience.” Those seated in the first row should be especially wary during the repartee section, and we would advise any ticket holder with more fragile egos to sit elsewhere.

When: 8pm Monday, October 5 Where: Rotunda 3, 6/F, Kowloon International Trade & Exhibition Centre, 1 Trademart Drive, Kowloon Bay

To prep yourselves for these shows or to simply take a lesson in insulting former British territories, check out Moran and Murray’s sets from previous shows.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article said both comedians are British. That is incorrect. Moran is Irish. We apologize for the error.
