A private car’s dashcam has captured a Toyoto Mark X speeding through an intersection on Castle Peak Road as the light turned red, crashing into a roadside railing.

At 7am last Wednesday, firefighters had to free the driver, a man surnamed Wang and aged 25, from the car, reports Oriental Daily.
Wang, who passed a breathalyser test, sustained injuries to his hands, feet and neck, and was taken to hospital.
The 2013 Toyota Mark X he was driving is reportedly worth about HKD140,000.
