If you’re superstitious, or rowdy, and believe that all good things happen in threes, you’ll be especially impressed this Sept. 3.
On your impromptu day off, (thanks to the 70th anniversary of the end of the “Chinese people’s war of resistance against Japanese aggression”) join Grouvly and JunksHK as they bring you a day at sea to remember… if you don’t completely black out.
It is a day to embrace all things three: three platforms, three music themes, three cocktail connoisseurs and three goes on a flyboard (the latter for the first 25 sign-ups only).
And why the over-exhaustion of this number? Because this is a party by Grouvly – a “social club” that organises meetups between groups of three girls and three guys through an app.
Whether you’re riding the waves on a banana boat or tube, feeling the breeze on your face and the burn on your bum down the waterslide, creating clouds of shisha smoke or showing off your beer pong skills, a HKD1,000 ticket will provide the all-inclusive experience.
There will, of course, be discounts for Grouvly members (old and new) as well as groups of three friends booking together.
We’re predicting there will also be lots of music by three-member bands, including the Beastie Boys, Nirvana and the Bee Gees… but that’s yet to be confirmed by organisers.
