A 45-year-old Filipino domestic worker pleaded not guilty to three counts of indecent assault of her employer’s son, a court heard today.
A video testimony from the now 13-year-old boy was played in court, during which he said the assault began in summer 2011, when he was eight years old.
According to Oriental Daily, the unidentified boy said that he was alone at home with the family’s helper, who touched his genitals and forced him to commit sexual acts.
The boy said that he was forced into sexual situations every time his parents and siblings were out of the house until 2013, when the helper left the family’s employment.
The teenager apparently did not understand what had happened until learning about sex and pregnancy during a sexual education class in Primary 6. He was apparently too ashamed to tell his parents until July 2015, after his mother found him crying at home.
Upon hearing about the alleged molestation, the boy’s mother and father (who is a police officer himself) reported the incidents to the authorities.
