Despite the grey skies and rain that come with the heavy fog which has been plaguing Hong Kong of late, we can’t help but be enamoured with it – at least aesthetically.
A timelapse filmed by local photographer Fai Jai shows Hong Kong’s iconic skyline shrouded in fog, with the low, dense clouds being tinted by coloured lights as they roll past the tops of skyscrapers.
Much prettier than the Symphony of Lights, wouldn’t you say?
While some may bemoan the humidity and low visibility that come with foggy weather, you can’t deny that its strange ethereal beauty is rather photogenic – or telegenic, in this case.
