Sip sangria, beer, and wine for HKD10 a pop at Isono this summer!

Could this be the best post-work drink deal in Central? Isono Bar and Eatery, a.k.a. the last Spanish restaurant left in PMQ (R.I.P. Vasco, forever in our hearts) has just launched their newest happy hour deal – or happy hours, we should say.

Starting today (June 21), Coconauts looking to blow off steam after work and/or a cheap way to get soused can drink sangria, wine, beer, juice, and more at Isono for only HKD10 a pop.

Not only that, but weekend warriors can enjoy the HKD10 drinks for an extra six hours on Saturdays and Sundays, when the deal will be available from 12 noon to 9pm. Oh, and did we mention that they have alfresco tables?

Seafood Fideua (L) and Fried Egg with Iberico Ham and Potato (R)

Responsible types looking to line their tummies can tuck into dishes like Seafood Fideua (HKD220, HKD400 for sharing portion) – a.k.a. paella with thin noodles instead of rice, and Fried Egg with Iberico Ham and Potato (HKD120), courtesy of Isono’s new Madrilenian chef de cuisine, Jamie Nunez.

A spokesperson for Drawing Room Concepts told Coconuts Hong Kong that the promotion was only supposed to run until the end of June, but feedback has been so good that the offer has already been extended “until further notice”.

While we still have a special, stingy place in our hearts for Stone Nullah Tavern’s outstanding Beat the Clock deal, sometimes we just can’t make it to Wan Chai in time before the prices (and crowds) multiply.
