Leap of Faith: ‘Parkour artist’ jumps between Hong Kong skyscrapers in dangerous stunt (VIDEO)

This video of a man jumping from the roof of one towering Hong Kong building to another has got us mildly impressed and extremely horrified.

The heart-stopping clip, which features British parkour and free-running athlete Max Cave, was posted to Instagram yesterday and has already garnered 164,000 views on Cave’s page alone.

(Who needs #likeforlike when you can trade likes for your life, yo)

Just watching this video from our office has got us nervous: palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy.

Reactions on Cave’s Instagram page and local Facebook page Hong Kong Allies have been divided, with some chastising the 24-year-old for “playing with his life”, while others defended him, saying the experienced free-runner “knows what he’s doing”.

Be that as it may, so did Pavel Kashin, the Russian parkour artist who tragically died in 2013 after doing a backflip on a 16th-floor rooftop.

Earlier this year, a 13-year-old Russian schoolboy reportedly died after attempting a parkour stunt on the edge of a ninth-floor-building.

Cave is a founding member of Storror Parkour, a collective formed in 2010 which has found notoriety for their jaw-dropping, gravity-defying antics in various international locations, such as Thailand, Iceland, and most recently, Santorini.

If you’re reckless enough to consider mimicking these guys, please don’t try this at home (or on top of your home).
