Body of 24-year-old found 3 days after he went missing at junk party

The body of a 24-year-old man who disappeared during a junk party over the weekend has been recovered.

The young man, surnamed Lo, was found by Marine Police yesterday afternoon about 0.4 nautical miles (740 metres) off Tai She Wan in Sai Kung, HK01 reports.

Police said initial investigations do not suggest any suspicious circumstances surrounding Lo’s death.

The 24-year-old was last seen swimming in the waters of Tai She Wan with some friends during a junk party on Sunday.

Sai Kung has seen a spate of tragic accidents over the last week.

Two hikers were swept out to sea and drowned roughly an hour before Lo disappeared on Sunday.

On Monday, a 48-year-old man died while freediving at a junk party.
