Yolk’s On You! 14-year-old arrested for egging former teacher in Kwai Chung restaurant

A 14-year-old boy was arrested yesterday after he and a friend reportedly threw eggs his former primary school teacher’s head.

At around 1pm yesterday, a 39-year-old teacher surnamed Yuen was eating at a cha chaan teng in Shek Lei Shopping Centre with a colleague when she was suddenly pelted with three raw eggs, Ming Pao reports.

The two teenage boys who had thrown the eggs scrambled to run away, but Yuen’s colleague managed to catch poach one of them. You might say their escape plan was poorly eggs-ecuted.

The 14-year-old boy, surnamed Lam, is apparently a former student of Yuen’s. Police later arrived to arrest him on suspicion of common assault, while Yuen was taken to hospital.

Hey, look on the sunny side (up) Yuen – we’ve heard eggs are excellent for conditioning hair.
