Joshua Wong #3 in TIME’s Person of the Year poll so far, after Indian prime minister and Ferguson protesters

We think TIME’s got a crush on Joshua Wong.

First, they have legendary photographer James Nachtwey shoot his portrait for the cover of TIME Asia.

Then they place him among the ranks of heads of state like Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama – and even more important people like Queen Bey and T. Swift – in their public poll for their Person of the Year.

You may not be able to vote in Hong Kong (at least, in a meaningful election), but you can vote in this one. Kind of.

TIME editors will ultimately decide who gets the coveted title (yeah, we know you won it in 2006, get over it), but you do get to tell them who you think should get this year’s accolade. And TIME has been doing lots of self-indulgent reporting on their own poll, so the results will be sure to get some attention.

Wong, Hong Kong’s democracy darling, is currently third in the running, coming after India’s prime minister Narendra Modi and the protesters of Ferguson, where an unarmed teenager was tragically shot dead by the police.

On the other hand the protesters of Hong Kong were snubbed, but we suppose Joshua Wong is their TIME-appointed ambassador, so it’s kind of fair.

So, Hongkongers, go forth and rock the vote!
