Does anyone remember how they got their fresh and juicy local news before Coconuts Hong Kong burst onto the scene two years ago? Nope, us neither. In honour of our fabulous selves and our second birthday, we threw a party for all our nearest and dearest Coconauts at the hipster chic SoHo bar The Pontiac.
The Pontiac created a special cocktail for us called This Ain’t Your Mama’s Coconut (T.A.Y.M.C.), an autumnal slushie combining coconut (duh), mint, lime, Becherovka and gin, which proved too popular for its own good.
Meanwhile we kept our stomachs responsibly lined with delicious morsels from Rummin’ Tings, including their famous Cubano sandwiches and Ragga Muffins (A.K.A. the best cornbread in Hong Kong).
Thank you to all of those who came and for everyone’s support these past two years. For those who couldn’t make it, we’ll see you next year!
