The Chinese immigrant suspected of killing a dog by “cleaning” it in a washing machine is courting controversy again after threatening to kill more dogs on his Facebook page. Seriously, what ’s with this guy?
Someone claiming to be Jacky Lo – we have to say that as he’s been threatening to sue media outlets for their unconfirmed reports on his dog torturing activities – proposed a game on his Facebook page on Friday.
Jackie (or someone pretending to be him) said he would kill a dog every day if netizens failed to answer questions correctly. An accompanying emoticon of “feelings fabulous” was also posted. Nice touch, man.
According to a translation by EjInsight, the post said: “I have six stray dogs in my hand[…]I will ask you a question everyday. I will kill a dog if your answer is wrong, and release one if you answer correctly. The lives of the dogs are in your hands.”
No questions have yet been posted, however, so let’s hope he’s given up on that bright idea.
Jacky Lo (or whoever is using his social media accounts) became public enemy number one in Hong Kong when photos appearing to show a small dog gasping for air in a churning washing machine went viral earlier in the month.
A roughly translated tagline of, “a super-quick way to bathe a dog” went with the photos, and Jacky (or whoever is posting as him), told a friend in a conversation below that the pup had died.
However, a week later someone (claiming to be Jacky Lo) on Weibo said the pictures were faked and that his Facebook account had been hacked. After a few days of downtime, his profile is back live again, and it seems “the hacker” is back to his old tricks. Poor Jacky!
Both the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Hong Kong police are investigating, but no arrests have been made. The man, thought to be a super rich Chinese immigration living in Hong Kong, reportedly fled to mainland China last week.
