Hong Kong’s Chan Yui-chong wins bronze medal for wheelchair fencing at Rio Paralympic Games

It looks like Hong Kong’s on a hot streak! Local Paralympian Chan Yui-chong has won a bronze medal in wheelchair fencing at the Paralympic Games in Rio, after the Hong Kong delegation won a gold and bronze medal in swimming and table tennis on Sunday.

The 33-year-old scooped Hong Kong’s third medal at the Games in the women’s individual epee (category B) yesterday, coming third after China’s Zhou Jingjing, who won the gold medal, and Thailand’s Jana Saysunee, who won the silver medal.

Chan won the bronze medal for the same event in the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, and scored a gold medal eight years ago in Beijing.

What. A. Star.
