More offers to donate liver to 10-month-old baby with congenital defect

A story to warm the heart: After Apple Daily reported the story of a 10-month-old baby girl with biliary atresia, a congenital obstruction of the bile duct, and is in need of a compatible liver donation, a compassionate single mom has stepped forward to donate her liver.

In addition, the family’s helper, who has only began work for two months, and three friends and a cousin of the family, has also expressed their willingness to donate their liver. The family has refused the single mom’s kind donation as they worry about her ability to care for her child after the surgery, and are awaiting the compatibility results of other donors.
